Type B film - Some color films are balanced for tungsten lighting. With color negative film, the difference in color cast is not quite so important as it is with transparency film, as it can be corrected to some extent when printing. Ordinary non-photographic tungsten lamps, as in most domestic interiors, are even more orange than photographic tungsten light, and if they need to be neutralized, a bluish filter should be used over the camera lens even with tungsten-balanced film.
